‘In conversation with….’ Carlo Ledesma and Bel Delia from The Tunnel

Actors Anonymous got going for 2011 with a new segment called ‘In Conversation with…..”. in which I interview someone with an interesting tale to tell in the world of film and theatre.
For the inaugural interview, who better than my good mate Carlo Ledesma who has directed his first feature film The Tunnel. Carlo brought along lead actress Bel Delia to share their story.

An investigation into a government cover-up leads to anetwork of abandoned train tunnels deep beneath the heart of Sydney, Australia. As a journalist and her crew hunt for the story it quickly becomes clear the story is hunting them. Produced by Andrew Denton (exec producer) Julian Harvey, Enzo Tedeschi and directed by Carlo Ledesma, The Tunnel is being distributed as one of Australia’s first crowd-funded films – defying internet piracy by embracing the nature of peer-to-peer sharing as a distribution model, via The $135k concept, in which fans of the film are encouraged to buy a frame. With one frame = $1, then 135,000 frames = 90minutes and 90minutes equals one movie! Crowd sourcing at its best.
