Screen Australia release ‘Beyond the box’ research

Attended a function held by Screen Australia today at The Museum of Sydney. Viocorp were filming the event for an on-demand webcast which we’ll have up soon.
It was great to see Screen Australia commission the research into consumer viewing behaviours. They estimated that all Australian films released in the last 3 years have been seen 101million times whereas total theatrcial views amounted toy about 10million views. i other words, a ten fol;d increase in total views across new online delivery platforms
