Asked to judge Short & Sweet again

I have been judging the Short & Sweet short play festival for many years now – something I greatly enjoy and are delighted to be asked.

Short & Sweet is the biggest festival of ten minute theatre in the world, each year featuring over 150 of the best ten minute plays from local and international writers.

I’ve acted and directed in numerous plays over the years.

Its a great springboard for upcoming actors, producers and directors to learn their craft.

The quality does vary from the bloody awful, to the occasionally exceptional, but its an important festival in developing Australian talent. Whats great is that if you are witnessing a stinker, it’ll be over in ten minutes and the next one will be much better!

Normally judging is rather anonymous in that you are credited but your opinions not shared, but this year I think I’ll do some reviews on my blog.

Great live stream from Toyota

Love this execution by Toyota in Japan. A webcam streams live the painting of a billboard, that also has an electronic display from viewers via twitter

look forward to seeing the stats on this at some point.

It appeared to be very rampant on social networks, and the counter was rising very quickly in the 30 minutes or so I was monitoring it.

The Livestream module was okay but it does have buffering and quality issues.

It reminded me of the Vivid Festival ‘Lighting of the Sails’ project we were involved in back in June
